ABOUT US

Coq Au Vin Poultry was founded by Karl & Aida Campbell in 1986 as they both saw the need for a specialist supplier in the poultry industry, a business that offered portion control solutions for restaurants and hotels, airlines . Innovative products using Fresh & frozen marinated, cooked, smoked poultry were developed and supplied throughout New Zealand.

As the business grew it became attractive to New Zealand’s largest poultry processor Tegel Foods and it acquired Coq Au Vin in 2000. It remains in this ownership to date.

Coq Au Vin employs over 30 highly trained staff producing and delivering quality products to some of New Zealand’s most iconic restaurants and Food Markets

Message from the general manager

Coq Au Vin is a specialist in the further processing of all poultry and some meat products. We have been part of Tegel Foods since April 2000, we supply the greater wellington region daily from our modern factory in Grenada North via our dedicated chilled fleet of vehicles. We have many customers who we supply from Auckland to Invercargill overnight via Chilled Freight companies.
